ROUND TABLE

Inspired by the legend of King Arthur and the knights of the round table, FLOREZCA presents a dramatic performance around a 12-foot wooden table that highlights the permeable edge between what is art and what is business.

FLOREZCA’S ROUND TABLE delivers voice projections, in circumference formation, by individual members of FLOREZCA’s board of advisors as they address issues relevant to their characters. Ranging from immigrants to corporate entities, the voices make up all the connective industries and relationships working within FLOREZCA, and the individual struggles to arrive at a more progressive collective agenda. The symbolism of place in FLOREZCA’S ROUND TABLE is something that is felt equally: here, no person ranks above or below another, and thoughts about status get replaced with a shared, collective spirit to creatively construct a positive, community vision.
